This article presents the spring 2009 bird banding report from the Appledore Island Migration Station, one of the several Atlantic Flyway stations located in York County, Maine. The station captured species that are within the normal range of average spring captures, such as the Tennessee Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler and the Scarlet Tanager. The station also reported that the number of birds, the number of species and the number of birds per 100 net-hours are slightly above its spring averages.
