- Abstract
The article offers information on the laws related to military trials of civilians in the war against terrorism. Topics discussed include the court case 'Hamdan v. Rumsfeld' in which the Supreme Court related to the authorization for use of military force (AUMF), the Articles 21 and 36 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice; and the Congress's power to create military tribunals, including military commissions.
