- Title

- Authors
STEIN, CHRISTOPHER T.; DROUIN, MICHELLE
- Abstract
The article discusses how to use tactical debiasing to resolve the practice of U.S. judges to systematically deviate from models suggested by rational choice theory or unbounded rationality in deciding cases. Also cited are the key role played by judges and juries in the country's legal system, the need to implement legal policies to insulate judges from their irrationality, and the need to reduce or eliminate information bias in the judges' decision making process.
