- Abstract
The article discusses the ways in which the literary works of Argentinian author Jorge Luis Borges addressed anti-semitism and the Jewish Holocaust of 1939-1945. Topics discussed include the influence of Jewish literature on Borges, the Jewish themes present in writings by Borges, and Borges' critiques of the ways in which the Nazis treated Jewish literature in the 1930s and 1940s.
