Abstract
The article reports on the resolution of the legal case of Clifford Charles Fowler vs. Larry Crawford. In the case, Clifford Charles Fowler, an incarcerated Cherokee Indian, challenged prison officials' decision to deny him access to a sweat lodge. The Court of Appeals rejected Fowler's claims and agreed with prison officials by claiming that the sweat lodge posed a security risk and should be denied.
