- Abstract
The article presents research on the convergence analysis of an SQP-type method for nonlinear semidefinite programming. The study proves that the local SQP-type method is quadratically convergent and that the line search SQP-type method is globally convergent under the strong second-order sufficient condition with the sigma term. It notes that the significance of exploring numerical methods to solve nonlinear semidefinite programming problems was recognized in community optimization. It also introduces preliminaries such as differential properties of the metric projector and optimality.
