- Abstract
Angiokeratomas are vascular dilatations affecting superficial dermis. Solitary angiokeratoma is one of the five variants of angiokeratoma, clinically is a localized lesion and is more frequent in young adults. As their coloration varies from purple-blue to black it is possible to be misdiagnosed as melanoma and other pigmented lesions, so dermoscopy is a very useful tool to accurately diagnose these lesions.
