- Abstract
The article discusses characterization of Carboxy terminal tail containing diglycines (GGs) motifs of small ubiquitin-related modifier (SUMO). It mentions that GGs are required for optimization of post translational modification process SUMOylation. It reports that SUMO mutants can form sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)-dithiothreitol (DTT)-resistant complexes with cellular proteins that indicates that GGs motif is not a pre requisite factor for SUMOylation.
