- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates that characterization of APSES transcription factor Mstu1 in Magnaporthe grisea. The mutant protein was observed to form a number of appressoria, presented low appressorial turgor and delayed glycogen and lipid transfer. It concludes that Mstu1 is needed for appressorium-mediated infection due to its involvement in both glycogen and lipids mobilization.
