- Authors
DELEYTO, CELESTINO
- Abstract
The article explores the romantic comedy genre in U.S. filmmaker Woody Allen's works since 2000. According to the author, the stories in Allen's films "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" and "Hollywood Ending" occur in a celluloid world or a generic universe composed of filmic fragments. He contends that these films represent contemporary discourses on love and marriage. He adds that these films are contemporary reworkings of classical screwball comedies.
