- Abstract
The article discusses the application of digital humanities in an introductory literature course. It describes the author's own experiences of using freely-available tools and software to design assignments that introduce students to some basic elements of digital humanities and reinforcing the fundamental reading and analytical skills. The use of websites like the Internet Archive, Project Gutenberg, and Google Books, in reading texts in digital format is also noted.
