- Title
Changes in Perspective: Narrative Irony in Milo Dor's Die Raikow Saga.
- Authors
Grimstad, Kari
- Abstract
The article examines the deliberately fragmented narrative in Milo Dor's trilogy "Die Raikow Saga," describing it as multiple, omniscient and detached in perspective. It also explores the autobiographical trait of the novel and relates it with the detached character of the narrative. Dor distanced himself from the horror of his experience of torture in prison by creating a fictional main character, who is related to, but not to be identified, as him.
