- Abstract
A recent research article published in Angewandte Chemie discusses the achievement of a nonlinear photochromic reaction in a rhodamine spirolactam derivative. The reaction is achieved without the use of triplet sensitizers, resulting in efficient intersystem crossing and triplet-triplet annihilation. The article also mentions the development of novel polymeric dielectrics that can operate at high electric field and high temperature. Another communication in the journal discusses photo-induced quadruple sigmatropic rearrangements.
