- Title
Biao Chen.
- Abstract
Biao Chen, an Associate Professor at Tianjin University in China, recently published an article in Angewandte Chemie titled "Room‐Temperature Salt Template Synthesis of Nitrogen‐Doped 3D Porous Carbon for Fast Metal‐Ion Storage." Chen's research focuses on developing new carbon-based materials for energy storage and metal-based composites. He aims to create reversible conversion-type batteries with good bidirectional reaction kinetics, contributing to the development of inexpensive, safe, and efficient rechargeable batteries. Chen advises his students to believe in their scientific intuition and emphasizes the importance of supporting and working closely with them. His long-term goal is to develop suitable electrode materials and create new rechargeable batteries that support wind and solar power generation.
