- Abstract
The article offers information on the life and political career of Kenyan Senior Chief Waruhiu wa Kung'u in the government of Kenya from 1890-1922. It offers background and illustration on the life of Waruhiu prior to 1922 and as an African collaborator who rose to power in the colonial country. Specifically, it traces the beginnings of Waruhiu's collaboration in his association with missionaries as a religious adherent and as a worker and teacher. His rapport and transparency are considered as good examples of a British collaborator.
