- Title
Study of the Feasibility of Using a Formalized Language for the Description of Reliability Problems.
- Abstract
This report looks at the feasibility of using a formalized language for the description of reliability problems. Such a language would provide a standard interface between the physical problem and the reliability analysis tool independent of the type of problem or the choice of analysis technique. The range of parameters required for describing reliability problems is investigated as are the current techniques for analysis. A reliability description language is proposed to form a clear and unambiguous statement of a range of reliability problems.
