- Abstract
The article discusses the letters written by Russian revolutionary and Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin known as Letters from Afar at the beginning of the 1917 Russian Revolution, with a particular focus on the response to them among members of the Russian Communist Party, the Bolsheviks. An overview of Bolshevik leaders' decision to not publish the majority of the Letters from Afar in their party newspaper "Pravda" is provided.
