- Abstract
This article focuses on the study related to plasma protein binding. Elevated serum vitamin B12 levels and increased plasma protein binding of vitamin B12 are well recognised in the myeloproliferative disorders, particularly chronic myeloid leukaemia. The method used was based on that of researcher. The blood used to provide white cells was collected into heparinised plastic packs and, after the addition of 1ml of 6% clextran in 09% w/v NaC1 to 5 ml. of blood, allowed to settle by gravity.
