The article highlight that the human rights climate in Estonia is subject to a threefold effect that is consequences stemming from the inheritance of its past as a part of the Soviet Union, the impact of its accession to the European Union, and national peculiarities. Topics include reports that substantive focus of the journal is on the transitional societies, particularly on the societal and political changes in the post-socialist region.
