- Abstract
In view of the fact of that the manual welding efficiency of H-shaped steel beam is low, the cost is high, and the labor intensity is high, but less research on its automatic producing, an automatic welding workstation composed of two welding robots and one handing robot was designed by analyzing its welding process. The seventh axis that expanded the robot’s working range and an automatic weld tracking system that ensured correctness trajectory of the robots were designed by SolidWorks. In Visual Components software, the simulation environment was built according to the layout of welding work station. The optimal welding path was planned by genetic algorithm, the simulation software was used to program and emulate automatically. The simulation result shows the correctness of the workstation layout.
