- Abstract
An essay is presented on the international and human rights perspective on posthumously conceived children and court cases concerning posthumous conception issues dealing with children's rights or interests, and inheritance and social benefits. Topics discussed include the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), case In re Estate of Kolacy based on intestate law and the amendment of the Fertilization and Embryology Act of 1990 in Great Britain.
