- Abstract
The article reports on the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) Act of India. The state of Karnataka has consistently been able to implement reforms in regulation related to the APMC Act. A nationwide electronic-platform, the National Agriculture, has been announced by the Indian Ministry of Agriculture that will connect a total 585 wholesale food and vegetable markets by March 2018 across India.
