- Abstract
The article explores the discovery of mosaic floors, liturgical vessels and furniture with architectural sculpture from a Byzantine Monastery in Nahal Qidron in Jerusalem, Israel. Details and featres of the excavated items and its role in early Byzantine civilization and architecture is discussed. A chronological study on the role of the discovered items in monastery of Byzantine civilization is also outlined.
