The article discusses the study conducted by Fisher et al. on the psychosocial-behavioral evaluation of psychiatric patients who underwent bariatric surgery. Explored are preoperative changes in the eating behavior of patients as well as their psychiatric histories. Also tackled are patients' long-term health outcomes.
