Two Programs to Combat Relapse in Anorexia Nervosa.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the two programs individual cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and maintenance treatment as usual (MTAU) that were applied to fight relapse in Anorexia Nervosa (AN) and the comparison of their results in 2009. It states that 46 patients under the CBT treatment received therapy sessions from a psychologist and patients under the MTAU group were given advised to take follow-up care. It cites that the time to experience relapse was longer in the CBT group than MTAU group.
