- Abstract
The current study aimed to explore the degree of the science and mathematics teachers use of the format model in teaching in public education in the city of Makkah Al-Mukramh , and finding the degree of differences in the science and mathematics teachers use of the model. And to achieve this, the descriptive approach was used and the participants of the study were (44) female supervisors of the science and mathematics supervisors. Aquestionnaire was applied on the participants. The questionnaire consisted of (51) practices distributed on eight stages showing the steps of the format model and both reliability and validity were done. The means and standard deviations and (t) test were used for data analysis. The results showed that the science and mathematics teachers use of the format model was mostly moderate on the steps of the model. Also the results showed there were no differences in the science and mathematics teachers use of the model. And in light of the results of the study the researcher presented a number of recommendations some of which were: holding training sessions for the science and mathematics supervisors on the use of the format model, and in their turn will train the teachers; they supervise to use it in their teaching.
