- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of various studies concerning the factors that causes the sleep disturbances of children. It states less aggression in preschoolers or control for age, gender and socioeconomic status is characterized by greater amount of nighttime sleep. Another study links the disturbances to attention problems and impulsivity associated with increase risk of injury. The disturbances are also related to learning difficulty and mood disorders.
