- Abstract
The article discusses the Queen's Bench Division Commercial Court case England and Wales Cricket Board Ltd v Kaneria wherein was required to determine whether proceedings before the appeal panel of the applicant cricket board were arbitration proceedings within the meaning of the Arbitration Act. The case has given guidance on what issues are relevant and material when considering whether proceedings are truly arbitral in nature. Several indicia of arbitration have been offered.
