- Abstract
The author discusses the research methods and assumptions being utilized in the Lives Saved Tool (LiST) computer software that was inspired by the initiative Lancet Child Survival Series. The series aims for increased funding for child survival efforts held in Bellagio, Italy. Described as user-friendly, the said software also incorporates information on mortality data and the research modelling process. He also talks about the criticisms received and improvements needed by LiST that would be beneficial to research in the future.
