- Abstract
The automobile industry plays an important role for the development of the economy. In India two- wheeler industry has grown vastly during the recent past. India is the second largest consumer of two wheelers, India being a country with young population the study aims at the youngsters. The study is confined to the under graduate and post graduate students of Hyderabad and Secunderabad of Andhra Pradesh. A sample size of 120 students who use two wheelers has been taken for the purpose of the study. The data has been analysed using statistical techniques like chi-square and factor analysis. The study reveals that majority of the respondents use two wheelers manufactured by Hero Honda. Price, Color, Availability of Spare Parts & Luggage space are the main factors considered for the purchase of two wheelers
