In article number 1502471, Kenneth J. Takeuchi, Feng Wang, and co‐workers undertake experimental and theoretical investigations into the local ionic transport and structural evolution in Fe3O4 during (de)lithiation, revealing that the cubic‐close‐packed O‐anion framework was sustained, thereby enabling multi‐Li intercalation and conversion reactions. The findings may offer insights into the structure‐determined ionic transport and electrochemical reactions in metal oxides, and those of other compounds sharing a ccp anion framework, reminiscent of magnetite.
