Methods: We analyzed the health records of 116 patients with HIV-AIDS monitored during the period 2008-2009 with at least two determinations of TCD4 + lymphocytes. Results: A substantial portion of the sample is declared heterosexual (89.7%). The main mode of HIV exposure to the sample investigated was the sexual route (91.4%). Regarding the clinical characteristics of subjects with HIV was found following situation: asymptomatic (45.7%), early symptomatic (9.5%) and late (44.8%). Consistent with our data can be verified that there was an increase in TCD4 + lymphocyte count in all extracts evaluated, and almost 9% in the range of 200-350 / mm3 and> 350 / mm3 of patients investigated in the period 2008 to 2009. Conclusion: The TCD4 + lymphocyte count is an important predictor for evaluating the frame of subject's seropositive immune.
