- Abstract
The express goal of the article is to call the readers' attention the special importance of the salesmen's innovative attitude both the individual and the company level of innovation. The main aim of the research is to understand the phenomena of corporate and individual innovation from the salesmen's point of view. After a quick overview of the general innovation theory (analyzing its organizational and personal dimensions), the article shows the results of the qualitative research. The analysis was based on in-depth interviews and the study is characterized by a qualitative research strategic approach. The results show us that the salesmen role in the innovation is relatively small. This can be the consequence of the uncertain role of the salesmen in the innovation process within the company. The firms are unable to take advantage of the salesmen's potential. The article's aim is to highlight the possible potential in the human resources, to use them in an effective way to become a more innovative company.
