- Authors
Braverman, Eric
- Abstract
Presents a letter to the editor concerning research by Blackman and colleagues which found that growth hormone (GH) can be associated with a high frequency of adverse effects when given to elderly men and women as a means of increasing lean body mass and decreasing fat. View that the dose used in the study exceeds the average dose used in clinical practice; Opinion that levels of glycohemoglobin adjust with dosages of GH therapy.
