- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the Architect alkaline phosphatase (ALP) assay calibrated with experimental calibrator factor (eCF) by performing a correlation experiment with the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) reference measurement procedure (RMP). Topics include the fresh-frozen serum pools with low, borderline and high ALP activities, assessment of participating laboratories, and expectation on Abbott Diagnostics based on the results of the study.
