- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 7 year old female child who presented with polyuria, nocturia and increased thirst that lasted for a month. Physical examination, urine examination, serum osmolality, blood and urine sugar levels revealed evidence of diabetes insipidus without any features of diabetes mellitus. Following a contrast enhanced computed tomography (CECT), the final diagnosis was cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) dissemination and secondary diabetes insipidus.
