- Abstract
The article describes the application of the interceptive approach to three critical stages in implant prosthodontics. This approach introduces a series of simplifications through which it is possible to reduce both time and cost, raise the qualitative and quantitative standard of the restorations produced, and improve interpersonal relations within the dental team and between the team and the patient. The advantages of the interceptive cast over conventional systems in current use in implant prosthodontics, from the physical standpoint, are outlined.
