- Abstract
The article presents an update on medical research. In one study, investigators crosslinked the concentric membrane bilayers that encapsulate a core filled with model antigen ovalbumin and embedded the lipid-like Toll-like receptor 4 agonist monophosphoryl lipid A within the bilayers. Another one designed a serotype-independent vaccines that trigger immune responses in mouse models and in human cells using a genomic approach. Engineered Metarhizium anisopliae was done to express proteins that block the malarial parasite development within mosquitoes.
