- Abstract
Healthcare personnel's increased use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the risk of pressure ulcers due to PPE. The prevalence and risk factors of pressure ulcers caused by PPE among nurses working in hospitals during the pandemic were examined. More than half of participant nurses reported pressure ulcers caused by PPE.
