- Abstract
The article focuses on the trespass doctrine of the U.S Fourth Amendment with reference to several court cases. Topics discussed include Great Britain High Court case Entick v. Carrington that addressed the role of trespass in providing protection against general warrants, the Supreme Court's decision in case Olmstead v. United State that dealt with wiretapping and defendant's rights provided by the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, and case Silverman v. United States.
