- Abstract
The article describes side-locked and side shifting primary headaches and migraine treatment. It discusses frequency of side-locked headaches in Tension-Type Headache (TTH) and New Daily Persistent Headaches (NDPH). It states that the unilateral headaches, trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias (TAC) and hemicrania continua (HC) can also shift sides. It suggests that further research is needed to elucidate the mechanism of unilateral trigeminovascular system activation in unilateral migraines.
