The article focuses on Julio Cortázar´s "Un tal Lucas," and on José Lezama Lima´s "Paradiso" and their identification as anti-novels. The author describes the historical development of the anti-novel literary genre and explains the contrasting ways each work challenges the traditional form of the novel.
