Abstract
The article reports on the plan of China to build a 400 Megawatts (MW) zero-emission coal-burning power station by 2015 in the coastal city of Tianjin. The project will be funded by GreenGen, a consortium of energy companies controlled by state-owned power firm Huaneng Group. According to GreenGen president Su Webin, the funding and planning of the proposed power station will not be an issue.
