- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which examined the colorimetric chemosensor for detection of silver ion (Ag+) through the formation of nanoparticles based on the intramolecular charge transfer (CT) interaction between the electron-rich (2,6-dialkoxynaphthalene (Np)) moiety and the electron-deficient (methyl viologen (MV)). Topics discussed include the host induced intramolecular CT complex.
