The article examines the impact of perceived inequalities on trust in political institutions in Korea and argues that these perceptions of inequality erode the trust of Korean citizens. It discusses the consequences of the level of citizen's political trust which include political participation and regime legitimacy. It suggests the importance of democratic and equal responsiveness to citizens in enhancing their trust in political institutions.
