- Abstract
The attendance of the sentences uttered by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IDH) has been present in the debates involving the Inter-American System and the protection of human rights, especially in Brazil, considering the high levels of (in)execution of the decisions and their complexities because of the alterations in public policies, articulation among Powers, adoption of different measures and search for not repeating the facts. Adopting as a reference the execution of an analysis of the (in)existent flows in Brazil for the monitoring of the attendance of the sentences uttered by the IDH, it is asked: how do the flows on the attendance of the sentences occur in countries that adopt instruments of internal monitoring of the inter-American decisions? Using the deductive approach method, the analytical procedure method, and the biographic research technique, it is aimed at understanding, from the analysis of the experiences in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica, which are the flows that were adopted by them and how they can contribute to the instrumentalization of better levels of attendance in Brazil. In this way, the existing rules in each of the referred countries are analyzed, in order to understand which rules present elements that define the national monitoring of the attendance of the sentences. From that, it is possible to state that the countries present different ways to monitor inter-American sentences, with Mexico presenting the most complete model, which reflects the significant levels of execution of the determined measures.
