- Abstract
The article discusses various kinds of confined spaces and its potential hazards. A definition of the term "confined space" is provided, as well as examples of confined spaces such as storage tanks, floating roofs and open-topped chambers. Lack of oxygen, hot conditions, and poor visibility are cited as some potential hazards posed by confined spaces. Also mentioned are confined space accident figures and regulations for working in confined spaces.
