- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the life of the anthropological criminologist Cesare Lombroso. She says that Lombroso is considered as a flamboyant crazy because of his idea that a criminal can be recognized through physical features and cites his theory on atavism. She notes that Lombroso advocates that scientific knowledge should be founded on fact and observation theory. Moreover, the opening of the Museum of Criminal Anthropology 'Cesare Lombroso' in Turin, Italy is also cited.
