- Authors
Nayar, Anjali
- Abstract
The article cites a study which found out that global adaptation to climate change would cost two to three times higher than previously projected. It mentions that in 2007, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) has suggested that the annual cost of climate adaptation, starting 2030 would be between 49 billion dollars and 171 billion dollars. However, its 2009 report says that this estimates does not account for climate changes' effects on several industries.
