- Abstract
The article provides information related to Deltistes Luxatus or Lost River sucker, one of endangered fish species in the world. It notes that Lost River suckers are widely distributed in the rivers and lakes of Oregon and California and that it feeds on dentritus and invertebrates. It discloses that it spawns in lake springs as well as in tributaries from the month of February until May. It reveals that hyper-eutrophication and mass mortality of adult species led to its endangered status.
